How to get a locker?

Where are the lockers?
Located in F09 changing rooms, lockers are available for active VIC staff members.
The lockers are used for sport gears and personal belongings, when staff are using the VIC facilities (Gym, clubs activities, etc.)

How does it work?
The lockers are free of charge and  assigned to active VIC staff member who are using the gym / changing room at least twice a week. The staff member is then custodian of the Locker and as such they are liable to report on its usage and empty it when asked to do so by the Lockers Management Group.
It is not allowed to pass the locker to someone else, or to swap lockers.

How to get a locker?
Points of Contact: Ladies.Lockers@VICREC.COM or Gents.Lockers@VICREC.COM
using your work email address to confirm that you are a VIC staff.*
There is a waiting list of 20+ persons and it can take more than a year to get one. Please be patient.

* Only active VIC staff members can have a locker. It is not possible for retirees, family members or Permanent Missions, as there are not enough lockers.
Non staff members can use the daily lockers (see below)

How to close my locker?
You can get a padlock from the VICREC or you can use your own.
A €15 fee may be charged for every lost padlock or key.

How long can I keep my locker?
When a staff member is separating/retiring, or going on long leave (more than 3 months), they are required to give back their locker by informing the Points of Contact.
Also when they don’t use it anymore, so it can be given to another staff.

Do I need to do something to keep my lockers after one year?
Every year, each locker user is required to confirm their usage, as well as to comply to the emptying of their locker during the cleaning campaign (usually in December).
Failure to comply to both will have the lockers returned to the pool of available lockers and be allocated to the next person on the waiting list.

Usage of the Daily Lockers:

There are also 17 lockers for daily use, located in front of the ladies changing room. They have transparent door and a keypad lock, just like in the Commissary.

They are available to all users, for daily use only.

To ensure these lockers remain available for their intended purpose, users are kindly requested to remove their belongings from the locker, at the end of the day after their club/sport activities.

BMS or UNSS is entitled to empty the daily lockers if unattended items remain there after working hours and on the week ends/ holidays.
